The Indian Premier League (IPL) teams are in a hustle as the trade window operations are in full swing.

A trade deal refers to the exchange of players between two franchises. During a specific period known as the trade window, franchises can swap players or conduct cash deals.

This allows teams to restructure their squads by acquiring or releasing players based on their strategic requirements and team dynamics.

The IPL trade window is a crucial phase where teams make decisions to enhance their team composition before the upcoming season. The traded players may be involved in a one-to-one exchange or as part of a multi-player or cash deal, as determined by the franchises and the league's governing council.

According to reports, Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya is all set to rejoin his former Indian Premier League (IPL) outfit Mumbai Indians ahead of the IPL 2024 auctions in what could potentially be the biggest trade deal in IPL history.
