Bet here now (selected regions) on the winners of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 and other cricket matches!

Under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav, the hosts managed to chase a massive total of 208 runs in 20 overs to go one up in the series.

With one eye on the T20 World Cup next June, this could be an important series for both sides. Both of them are set to play just 11 T20s before the global event.

10:41pm: Australia finish at 191/9 after 20 overs. India win the battle in Thiruvananthapuram by 44 runs, as Matthew Wade saves the visitors from suffering a total clean-up. The hosts go 2-0 up in the five-match T20I series, after yet another dominant display.

Will the clash at Guwahati be the series-decider? Only time will tell.

10:41pm: Matthew Wade is playing a consolation knock on the pitch. The Australian skipper skies a few balls beyond the boundary ropes. Wade has hit three maximums in his last five balls, as he gets onto 32 in 17 deliveries. Australia are 181/9 after 19 overs.

10:28pm: WICKET! Arshdeep picks the penultimate scalp of the Australian batting order, as Zampa goes back to the pavilion. Australia are 155/9 after 17 overs.

10:22pm: WICKET! Two in the over for Prasidh! The chase is all but alive for Australia as they find themselves eight down at the end of the sixteenth. Another timber for Prasidh, as he knocks off Nathan Ellis. Australia are 152/8 after 16 overs.

10:18pm: WICKET! Prasidh Krishna gets into the act! Australia lose their seventh, and are crumbling as we get to the end of the run chase. Krishna gets the timber of Sean Abbott, who fails to judge the yorker. Australia are 150/7 after 15.1 overs

10:14pm: WICKET! Two wickets of two successive batsmen in two consecutive overs! Pacer Mukesh Kumar gets the set batsman Marcus Stoinis in the 15th over. Stoinis fails to clear the boundary as the ball falls into the safe hands of Axar Patel. Australia are 149/6 after 15 overs.

10:07pm: WICKET! Whenever India need a wicket, Ravi Bishnoi gets to the rescue! Bishnoi bags his third of the game, as Tim David is dismissed for 37 off 22 deliveries. The stage is set for the final six overs of the game, as Australia are a far way behind, yet. Australia are 142/5 after 14 overs.

9:49pm: Australia have fought their way back into the run chase. After wickets quick succession, the visitors find themselves at 104-4 at the halfway mark. Tim David and Marcus Stoinis have been hitting maximums to keep  Australia relevant in the run chase. Australia are 104/4 after 10 overs.

9:33pm: WICKET! Australia are crumbling at the moment! With seven overs into the chase, the visitors have lost four wickets. The experienced nut of Steven Smith has been cracked by a spirited bowling attack of Team India. Smith has been pocketed by Yashasvi Jaiswal, who takes a brilliant diving catch. Australia are 58/4 after 7.2 overs.

9:24pm: WICKET! The spin twins are doing it for India at the moment! After Short and Inglis, pocket dynamo Glenn Maxwell bites the dust! An aggressive start has led Australia to lose three wickets in quick succession. Australia are 53/3 after 6 overs.

9:17pm: WICKET! Ravi Bishnoi at it again! It is turn to trouble for Australia, as Bishnoi picks up his second wicket of his spell. A strong start is getting close to a sluggish end as the batting powerplay runs down Australia's sleeve. Australia's hero from Vizag, Josh Inglis, is outdone cheaply in Thiruvananthapuram. Australia are 39/2 after 4.2 overs.

9:11pm: WICKET! Australia start the run chase strong, but Ravi Bishnoi strikes in his first over, yet again! Matthew Short has been knocked over by the young leggie, who gets him done with the inside edge. Australia are 36/1 after 3 overs.

8:45pm: What a last over for India as the hosts pick up 20 runs in the 20th over courtesy of Rinku Singh and Tilak Varma no-nonsense batting! India post a massive total of 235 runs for the loss of 4 wickets.

8:30pm- WICKET! Another one bites the dust as skipper Suryakumar Yadav departs after a quickfire star. Nathan Ellis gets rid of the Indian captain. India are 189/3 after 17.4 overs.

8:17pm- WICKET! Ishan Kishan goes after an impressive knock of 52 off 32 balls. India 162/4 after 15.2 overs.

8:00pm- India are cruising towards another 200-plus score as they are currently 116/1 after 12 overs. Gaikwad is not out on 35 off 30 balls while Ishan Kishan has scored 21 off 19 deliveries.

7:30pm- WICKET! Yashasvi Jaiswal departs after a quickfire knock of 53 off 25 balls as Adam Zampa takes his catch in the second slip of Nathan Ellis' delivery. India 77/1 after 5.5 overs.

7:01pm- Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad are out in the middle as action begins at the Greenfield International Stadium.

Matthew Wade confirmed that Glenn Maxwell and Adam Zampa are back in the team replacing Jason Behrendorff and Aaron Hardie.

India, on the other hand, will field an unchanged lineup.

IND vs AUS: Greenfield International Stadium pitch report

The Greenfield International Stadium has traditionally been friendly to the bowlers. The pitch has a slight tendency to crack a bit, making it favourable for spinners. On more humid days, the moisture in the pitch can assist fast bowlers, but by the same token, the ball comes onto the bat easier.

The ease for bowlers during the day, however, is offset by the difficult conditions under lights, when dew is likely to set in.
