Woods has five career wins in the Hero World Challenge since the inception of the event in 2000. He's a longshot to capture his sixth as the odds above reflect. His last win here came in 2011.

Top contenders for the 2023 Hero World Challenge
This tournament has attracted eight of the top-10 players in the world rankings led by Scottie Scheffler.
Hovland, fourth in the world rankings, registered a pair of top-five finishes in the BMW PGA Championship and DP World Tour Championship after winning his first FedEx Cup series title. He also helped Europe reclaim the Ryder Cup over Team USA.
The field includes two 2023 major champions in Wyndham Clark (U.S. Open) and Brian Harman (British Open).
Will Zalatoris also makes his return to competitive golf at the Hero World Challenge. He last competed in the 2023 Dell Technologies Match Play event before being sidelined with a back injury.

Hero World Challenge betting analysis
This is an impressive field for an unofficial PGA Tour event. The 2023 Hero World Challenge features nine players who've combined to win 13 major tournaments. There is no cut as all 20 players will play four rounds from Nov. 30 through Dec. 3.
