These two longtime rivals meet up in Arlington headed in very different directions. The Cowboys (second in the NFC East behind the dominating 9-1 Eagles) have won three of their last four games by 23 or more points. Meanwhile, the Commanders are on a two-game losing streak, dropping their latest at home last week to the lowly Giants. Dallas has won four of the last five matchups against Washington, outscoring the Commanders 140-96 in those games.

- Cowboys -10.5: Washington looked lost in their ugly 31-19 loss to New York last week, with the Giants’ bottom-of-the-league defense forcing six turnovers, including three interceptions on the Commanders’ young QB Sam Howell. The Cowboys have one of the NFL’s best defenses and should fluster Howell and Co. even more. Dallas’ offense has steadily improved all season, with Dak Prescott pushing the passing game to fourth-best in the league. The Cowboys toppled those same Giants 49-17 two weeks ago.

In the most evenly-matched game this Thanksgiving, the Seahawks and 49ers face off in Seattle locked in a tight race for NFC West supremacy. After winning their first five games, the 49ers hit a three-game losing streak that had some doubting the potential for a playoff return this season. But then San Francisco went on a tear with a pair of dominating wins, including last week’s 27-14 victory over the Buccaneers, a game in which quarterback Brock Purdy dazzled, posting a perfect passer rating.
The 49ers now sit a game ahead of the Seahawks in the division. Seattle has lost two of their last three games, including last week’s close 17-16 loss to the Rams. But the Seahawks play well at home, posting a 4-1 record at Lumen Field this season.
Bet to consider:
- 49ers -6.5: Outside of a 37-3 Week 9 thumping against the Ravens, the Seahawks’ defense has looked strong in recent weeks. But between Purdy’s growing efficiency and Christian McCaffrey consistency on the ground, the 49ers’ offense has so much momentum coming into this game, Seattle might have a difficult time keeping this one close.
