After a wild first round headlined by No. 16 Fairleigh Dickinson's stunning upset of No. 1 Purdue, the second round of March Madness 2023 might have been even better.

The weekend included exhilarating finishes, a No. 15 seed advancing to the Sweet 16 for the third consecutive year, and three bluebloods getting eliminated. Kentucky, Kansas and Duke are out. Sixteen of the best teams in America are in.

The Sweet 16 promises more drama. Florida Atlantic and Princeton are looking to extend their dream seasons, Dan Hurley and Eric Musselman are set to meet in a matchup of fiery coaches, and the last two remaining No. 1 seeds are hoping to just hold on for another game.

Once the Sweet 16 is done, the Elite Eight might deliver one of the most unusual Final Four fields in recent memory.
